Israeli soldiers returned the fire, and during the ensuing half-hour battle, Arabs also shot at Jewish homes from the Harat a\'Shech hills. No Israelis were injured.

Israeli security forces arrested two Arabs from Al Hader, from where many attacks on cars and soldiers in the Bethlehem region have originated in the past months. The two are suspected of placing bombs on the Jerusalem-Gush Etzion highway, resulting in the wounding of soldiers and civilians. A police source told Itim News Agency that the two confessed to the crimes and provided the names of 16 other people involved in similar attacks...
