Palestinian warfare against Israel continued in Gaza over the night. Arabs shot at IDF outposts in Gadid, N\'vei Dekalim, and Rafiach, and 60 grenades were hurled at an IDF position near Rafiach. In the Shomron as well the violence continued: An Israel car was shot at near Einav, but no one was hurt, and further north, in Kadim, a Border Guard position was shot at; the soldiers returned fire... A bomb went off near Shavei Shomron; no one was hurt... Yesterday morning, Arafat\'s armed forces shot from a passing vehicle at an Israeli army patrol in Hevron near Yeshivat Shavei Hevron. Israeli soldiers returned the fire, and during the ensuing half-hour battle, Arabs also shot at Jewish homes from the Harat a\'Shech hills. No Israelis were injured.



Today: A pipebomb was discovered and safely neutralized near Shechem… A soldier was wounded lightly by rocks near Ramallah… Gunmen opened fire at a Border Guard vehicle along the under-construction Trans-Israel Highway near Tul Karem; no one was hurt, and soldiers returned fire…

The army took over a house in the Arab village of Nabi Tzalach this morning, in an area under Palestinian civil control. The house overlooks a road leading to N\'vei Tzuf, north of Ramallah, the site of many attempted attacks in the past days and weeks. Local Palestinians rioted for hours in an attempt to stop the army from entering the house, but the soldiers dispersed them...

Arab sources in Hevron claim that the IDF abducted a local Hamas leader in northern Hevron this morning...

Israeli security forces arrested two Arabs from Al Hader, from where many attacks on cars and soldiers in the Bethlehem region have originated in the past months. The two are suspected of placing bombs on the Jerusalem-Gush Etzion highway, resulting in the wounding of soldiers and civilians. A police source told Itim News Agency that the two confessed to the crimes and provided the names of 16 other people involved in similar attacks...
