The Palestinian Authority withdrew accusations it made against the IDF yesterday regarding the wounding of two children in Gaza. The PA had originally claimed that the two were wounded in a battle between Israeli and PA forces on Wednesday night. The IDF denied the claim, and the PA very shortly afterwards admitted that the children were likely injured by the explosion of an improvised grenade they were \"handling.\" Most of the grenades used in attacks on IDF forces are handmade, according to Israel Radio. Shortly after the retracted accusation, Palestinians hurled a fragmentation grenade and a firebomb at soldiers in the Rafiach area.
