The uprooting of the "unauthorized outposts" in Judea and Samaria (Yesha) has been pushed off for at least another ten days. Supreme Court Justice Mishael Cheshin, acceding to the request of the Amanah Settlement Organization and the outpost residents, ordered the demolitions put on hold until the Supreme Court holds another hearing on the issue.

At issue are Ofrah neighborhoods Ginot Aryeh and Tal Binyamin, a synagogue between Kiryat Arba and Hevron, and other, smaller outposts. Yesha leaders have said that the fight against the destruction of the outposts will be intense, as Prime Minister Sharon plans to continue from the outposts to the larger communities of Judea, Samaria and Gaza.
