MK Eli Yeshai, head of the opposition Shas party, is meeting with Likud and right-wing MKs today, seeking to enlist support for the no-confidence motion his party plans to submit in the Knesset. It is not yet clear whether Yeshai will submit the motion tomorrow, or will instead wait for more favorable conditions.

The government has survived similar motions in the past several weeks by very narrow margins. The motion in question may be an even harder hurdle for the coalition to overcome, however, as MKs of the coalition-member National Union party are said to be considering voting against the government.
