Police instructed worshipers at the Western Wall to leave the prayer area for a short while early this afternoon, after hundreds of Arabs on the Temple Mount began rioting and throwing rocks towards the Wall Plaza. Some 35,000 Moslems took part in the prayers on the Mount today, and the rioting began shortly afterwards. Border Guard police arrived on the Mount to restore order, using stun grenades and other riot-control means. Three policemen were lightly injured.
