The Palestinian Authority released from its custody this afternoon Dr. David Marcea, an Israeli whom it had held for a few days on suspicion of involvement in the killing of a Hamas terrorist. Israel demanded his release, but the PA said this morning that Dr. Marcea had decided to remain in Shechem with his mother\'s family; her second husband is a Palestinian. When Israel demanded to hear this decision from his mouth, the PA backed down, and released him today.
