A conference of foreign ambassadors to Israel took place this morning in the Knesset, in the framework of activities marking the 55th anniversary of the founding of the Israeli legislature. The official anniversary is the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Shvat, the minor holiday of Tu B'Shvat, which will be marked this coming Shabbat. Knesset Speaker Ruby Rivlin, foreign ambassadors and consuls in Israel, the heads of parliamentary friendship associations and other Knesset Members took part in the gathering.
