The communities of the Hevron area will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the renewal of Jewish settlement in the area tonight. These include towns such as Otniel, Beit Haggai, Hevron, Maaleh Chever, Carmel, and others. Nearby Kiryat Arba, a city of close to 6,500 people, was founded ten years earlier, in 1971.
