Emergency medical service officials report that shrapnel lightly injured the Israeli Arab citizen wounded in the Sunday morning attack, at about 7:00am. One EMS official pointed out that the victim, a 26-year-old resident of Jabal Mukaber who was driving a truck bearing yellow Israeli license plates was most fortunate – explaining that one bullet pierced a window passing directly by the victim’s head.

The victim is a subcontractor that delivers bread and baked goods to communities in the Benjamin Regional Council District of the Shomron for Angel’s Bakery. He was attacked by gunfire on the ‘garbage road’ connecting the communities of Psagot and Beit El. As reported earlier, the wounded man was transported to Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus in Jerusalem where officials report his condition as being light. He sustained shrapnel injuries to both legs.
