Not for the first time, the anti-terrorism partition has proven to be not 100% effective. Arutz-7's Haggai Huberman reports that several weeks ago, an unknown number of Arabs from northwestern Shomron brought a simple ladder to the fence and climbed over. Electronic means and cameras brought the infiltration to the immediate attention of IDF forces, but the Arabs were able to escape: a waiting car on the "Israeli" side of the fence took them in the direction of the Israeli-Arab villages of the Wadi Ara (Nachal I'ron) area. The infiltrators are not assumed to be terrorists, but rather employment seekers. Despite the Arab "success," a military source told Huberman that since the fence was built, the number of illegal Arab aliens from the P.A. has dropped from 300 a month to 1-2.
