A new installation for recovering and recycling drainage water was launched today near Netanya. It will produce five million cubic meters of water a year, which will be used for agriculture in the nearby Hefer Valley area. Mekorot Water Company head Amos Epstein said at the dedication ceremony, \"Israel is one of the world\'s leading countries in water recovery, and has not yet reached its full potential in this area.\" The Knesset established a parliamentary investigative committee today, headed by Likud MK David Magen, to investigate why the water crisis began and what can be done to solve it.
