Abu Ala - otherwise known as PA prime minister Ahmed Qurei - continues with his provocative acts against the Israeli government. After visiting with the murderer of Rehavam Ze'evi precisely while the Knesset was holding a memorial session in the latter's memory two days ago, he has now postponed a meeting with Prime Minister Sharon - at the request of Sharon's political opponents.

The Israeli formulators of the Geneva document pressed Abu Ala to postpone his much-touted meeting with Sharon until after the Geneva signing ceremony of next week. The Arab London-based newspaper Al Hayat, reporting the story in the name of "sources," adds that Abu Ala yielded to the request.
