The Palestinian Authority has reportedly arrested the terrorist who murdered two IDF soldiers on the Tunnels Highway on Tuesday - but many PA residents are not happy at the prospect of justice being done. Some 200 residents of Dehaishe, near Bethlehem, protested against the PA yesterday for having arrested the murderer - a PA policeman - and expressed support for the murderous attack.

Polls of PA residents have consistently showed strong support for continued terrorism against Israelis. A poll carried out by the Palestinian Center for Public Opinion (PCPO) and released last week shows that 42.6% "support the continuation of the intifada." The same organization found that 18.6% believe that it is important to raise a child to be a shahid [[holy martyr in the war against Israelis/Jews/infidels].

Several Palestinian terrorists have been arrested by the IDF since last night, including an armed Hamas member in the village of Harbeta, near Kiryat Sefer. Among the other detainees were another Hamas terrorist and a PFLP member... Several more mortar shells and rockets were fired on Jewish communities in Gush Katif and Gaza last night and this morning, bringing the total number of such attacks since the Oslo War began to 3,561. No one was hurt in the bombings of last night and today... The road to Netzarim was closed this morning when an explosive device was found... No soldiers were hurt this morning when Arab gunmen fired at them near Kadim, in the northern Shomron...

A soldier wounded in a terrorist attack over two months ago has died. Sgt. Liron Siboni, 19, was on her way home from the Tel Aviv-area Tzrifin army base when a Palestinian terrorist blew himself up at a crowded bus stop. Eight others were killed in the blast, including two other female soldiers. Liron was buried this morning in the Kiryat Sha'ul Cemetery in Ramat Gan.
