On the heels of the recent RadioShack Corporation (NYSE: RSH) Worldwide Innovation Conference in Fort Worth, Texas, the company announced on November 18th that it had reached an agreement with E.N.T. Exceptional New Technologies Ltd. to identify innovative Israeli technologies and products the consumer electronics retailer can bring to market, either through its stores or other distribution channels.
E.N.T. is a leading technology marketing company specializing in channeling unique Israeli technologies into the worldwide marketplace. RadioShack officials said they will rely on the Israeli-based company to identify, analyze and select “best-of-breed” Israeli technologies that can be used to build domestic and international markets in a timely, cost-effective fashion.
The agreement with E.N.T. is a result of RadioShack’s new business innovation initiative, headed up by Leonard Roberts, chairman and chief executive officer of RadioShack Corporation, along with a team of senior company executives and board members.
