The six Jewish victims of the twin car bomb attacks in Istanbul were buried today. Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom, who flew to Turkey the day after the massacre - 23 people were killed in total - said yesterday that Israel would help fund the rebuilding of the two stricken synagogues. Shalom, meeting in Brussels yesterday with the Foreign Ministers of the European Union, said that the increasing antisemitism must be dealt with.
The six murdered victims buried today were:
* Anna Rubenstein, 85, whose body was identified only yesterday by Israeli ZAKA volunteers, and her granddaughter Annette, 8'
* Yoel Cohen Olcher, 20, the security guard;
* Avraham Verol, 40;
* Berta Ozdogen, 28, in her fourth month of pregnancy. Her husband, who was also killed in the blast, was buried yesterday in a local Moslem cemetery;
* Yonah Romano, 55, who suffered a fatal heart attack as a result of the blast.
