Some true blue-and-white international tennis stars, in particular Yoni Erlich, Harel Levy and Amir Hadad, have been making their marks of late in doubles competitions throughout Europe.



This month, Israeli tennis stars Yoni (Jonathan) Erlich teamed up with Harel Levy to win the doubles competition at the Tatra Banka Open in Bratislava, Slovakia. Today (Sunday), the Israeli stars Levy and Erlich climbed to the top together at the Challenger Series in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine, as well. They defeated the Swedish team 4:6, 3:6.The Ukrainian tournament win carries a prize of 125,000 US dollars.



Harel Levy is rated 126 in the world, 93 in doubles. His partner in the Slovak and Ukrainian tournaments, Yoni Erlich, is rated 466 in the world, but 35 in doubles.



In October of this year, Erlich and Andy Ram became the men’s doubles champions at the Grand Prix de Tennis de Lyon in France. In September, Levy won the doubles competition with Amir Hadad at the Challenger Series in Groningen, Netherlands. Hadad and Levy also took first place at the Nottingham Challenger in the United Kingdom.
