A new IDF position will be established \"within a few days\" in Hevron\'s ancient Jewish cemetery. So did Lt.-Col. Amnon Cohen, commander of the Liaison Headquarters in Hevron, inform the Knesset Education Committee this week. The cemetery holds the remains of famous rabbis, victims of the 1929 Hevron massacre, and terrorism victims. Vandalism there is on the rise; two such incidents occurred at the cemetery in the year 2000, and five already this year.
