Police in northern Jerusalem are on high alert once again, in the search for a female Palestinian terrorist planning to perpetrate an attack.

Arutz-7's Kobi Finkler reports that a mortar shell fired towards Netzarim last night landed without causing damage. An average of over 20 shells and rockets have been fired at Jewish targets in Gaza each week since Rosh HaShanah. There were also incidents of shooting and bombs in the Rafiach area on the Israeli-Egyptian border and near N'vei Dekalim; no one was hurt.

Israeli security forces caught a much-wanted terrorist last night, following a long pursuit: the Arab who murdered 7-year-old Noam Leibovich and wounded three of her family members on the Highway 6 toll road this past June. The murderer was, as of yesterday, the head of the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization in Kalkilye.
