Jerusalem police were out in force today, the first Friday of the Muslim month of Ramadan, in an attempt to head off any threats of holiday violence. Only married men over the age of 45 and married women over the age of 35 were permitted on the Temple Mount for prayer services, as were 5,000 PA residents. Well over 150,000 Moslems participated in the prayers, which ended peacefully.
