With the blessing of the Administration for the Development of the Holy Sites, construction work has begun at the Western Wall Plaza to expand the worshipers' areas by an additional 12 meters. Rabbi Yosef Shvinger, who heads the Administration, explained to Arutz-7's Yosef Meiri that the presence of so many worshipers at the site on holidays and special events mandated the expansion. The work, carried out by the Eastern Jerusalem Development Company, is expected to be completed within two months.
