Sivan Ptihi and Nirit Cohen were among the seven schoolgirls in the Fuerst-Amit Religious School in Beit Shemesh who were murdered in March 1997 by a Jordanian soldier in Naharayim. Later this summer, the bonds between their two families will grow even stronger when Sivan\'s sister Einat, 23 and Nirit\'s brother Ophir, 24, will be married. The two, both students at the Jerusalem College of Administration, met each other after the tragedy. Einat\'s father Yisrael said that the seven families have remained in contact over the years. His wife told Arutz-7\'s Yosef Zalmanson today that she was happy to share her family\'s story with the public \"in order to increase happiness among the Jewish people at this time.\" She said that despite the pain of the killings, she fondly remembers the dramatic condolence visit King Hussein of Jordan paid in her home at the time, and how he \"spoke to us in almost a fatherly way.\" (Ed. note: A few days before the murders, Hussein had sent a strongly-worded letter of criticism to the-Prime Minister Netanyahu regarding Israeli construction in Har Homa; then-Foreign Minister David Levy and others attributed the killings, indirectly or directly, to what they called the \"incitement\" in the letter.)
