Arutz-7's military correspondent Kobi Finkler reports on several incidents of Palestinian terrorist violence since last night: Two mortar shells were fired at Jewish targets in Gush Katif, on Israel's southern Mediterranean coast, and two Kassam rockets were launched towards Yad Mordechai, north of Gaza. Another Kassam was fired this morning towards the western Negev; no one was hurt.
There were several incidents of shooting at IDF positions in Gush Katif, and a large bomb of more than 60 kilograms of explosives was found and neutralized in northern Gaza... Some damage was caused to cars in heavy rock-throwing attacks south of Jerusalem, and cars were shot at near Shechem... Seven terrorists were arrested over night in Yesha, and two others - wanted Islamic Jihad members, found with a rifle and grenades in their possession - were apprehended this morning.
IDF forces demolished the home of the Hamas terrorist who shot from his porch at passing Israelis yesterday, wounding two. The building was situated at the entrance to the Admot Yeshai neighborhood in Hevron. The two victims are members of the Jewish Community's civil emergency-response team. One of them, Eyal Noked (Eyal Chaim ben Chaya Devora Raizel) is listed in moderate condition. The condition of Shachaf Gilad, who was wounded in the attack opposite Ofrah this week in which three of his fellow soldiers were killed, has improved. He is now in the blood-vessel surgical ward in Hadassah Ein Karem Hospital.
