Less than two hours after the Palestinian attack on the US convoy, three IDF soldiers were lightly wounded in a bomb attack against an IDF tank near Kfar Aza, just to the east of the Gaza Strip and its Karni Crossing. The wounded soldiers were transported to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon.



An IDF force arrested a woman terrorist who planned to stab soldiers at a checkpoint near Tul Karem, east of Netanya, this afternoon. She fainted when the soldiers found, in her belongings, the knife she planned to use in the attack... Earlier this afternoon, no one was hurt when Arabs hurled a grenade at an IDF outpost on the Israeli-Egyptian border... An Israeli soldier was lightly wounded by gunfire in the Rafiach area in southern Gaza, as the IDF offensive to uncover and destroy arms-smuggling tunnels continues.



George Matar, 59, one of the Christian-Arab owners of the Jewish-Arab Maxim Restaurant in Haifa, died in the Rambam Medical Center in Haifa this morning. He is the 21st victim of the October 4th suicide terror massacre in the restaurant. Four other Arabs were killed in the blast, as were five members of the Zer-Aviv family, five members of the extended Almog family, a childless husband-and-wife couple, and four others.
