Brig.-Gen. Yiftach Spector, the highest-ranking pilot among the 27 Air Force "rebels" who wrote that they would refuse to bomb murderous terrorists taking refuge in Arab civilian centers, has been fired from his position as a flight counselor in the Israel Air Force Flight School. Spector expressed regret for his signature on the letter, saying he should not have added it - but Air Force Commander Maj.-Gen. Dan Halutz ruled that it was "too late."
