Representatives of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee will meet today in Washington with US National Security Advisor Condoleeza Rice. The four MKs - Yuval Shteinitz, Chaim Ramon, Ephraim Sneh and Omri Sharon - are members of a new joint Knesset-Congressional committee. The new body will deal with security matters of joint interest to the two countries, including counter-terrorism, missile defense systems, and the Libyan and Iranian nuclear threats.
