Some 1,000 youngsters from England are expected to come to Israel this summer as part of the Jewish Agency\'s Israel Experience program. The world Betar movement announced that it intends to send, as planned, more than 100 teenagers and youth leaders from its France chapter in the same framework.

Some 300 children will be visiting Israel this summer under the auspice of United Synagogue Youth. In addition, the Ramah Camps are sending about 225 youngsters.

Some 250 Jewish students from all over the former Soviet Union will begin an educational visit to Israel - their first trip to Israel - through the Birthright project, with Jewish Agency assistance, this week. The same number is expected in coming weeks.
