Twenty 7-12-year-olds from the areas most contaminated by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in Ukraine and Belarus in 1986 landed at Ben Gurion International Airport this morning. Their trip and stay in Israel is sponsored by Chabad’s Children of Chernobyl program. The organizers say that the children\'s parents, while alert to the ongoing Palestinian terrorism against Israel, are more concerned about the ongoing devastating medical affects of radiation. The Chabad group has airlifted some 2,100 children to Israel over the years, providing medical care and education until the youngsters are joined by their parents.
