Eight Jewish suspects in the alleged "underground" remain in prison, but another one was released today by the General Security Services. Haggai Avikar of the southern Judean community Susia was incarcerated for ten days, but no evidence was found justifying his continued imprisonment. He was released under restrictive conditions. Three other suspects - Sela Tor, David Libman, and Yisachar Peretz - were brought before a Magistrates Court judge today, and their remand was extended for one, three, and four more days, respectively, as the GSS claimed it had found evidence connecting them to alleged "security crimes."
