Yet another victim - the 22nd - of the #2 bus blast in Jerusalem last month has succumbed to his wounds. Mordechai Laifer of Netanya, who was totally paralyzed by the blast, died last night in a Jerusalem hospital. The father of four children and the son of the Nadvorne Rebbe in Haifa, he was considered to be one of the outstanding scholars in the Tzanzer yeshiva. Laifer, the third resident of Kiryat Tzanz to be killed in the massacre, was buried in Netanya today.
IDF sappers neutralized three explosives on the trans-Shomron highway this afternoon, eight miles east of Petach Tikvah. One was attached to a clock; the other two may have been decoys. Another explosive went off near Elon Moreh; no one was hurt.
Security forces arrested 150 wanted terrorists and accomplices throughout Judea, Samaria, and Gaza this week.
