Sgt. Gavriel Uziel, 20, was killed this morning in Jenin by Arab gunfire. He and several other fighters were in the midst of arresting an Islamic Jihad terrorist who had been planning to carry out a major attack in the next few days. Shots rang out from a nearby house against the Israeli force, and Uziel was mortally wounded; he died en route to the hospital. Fatah has claimed responsibility for this latest killing. His funeral is set for this evening at Mt. Herzl Military Cemetery in Jerusalem.
