Zo Artzeinu (\"This is Our Land\") activists took to the streets today in a determined act of non-violent civil disobedience. At exactly 5 pm, the organization\'s members observed one minute of silence in memory of each of the 62 civilian victims of Arab terrorist attacks since the start of the PLO mini-war last fall. Organizers hope that their protest will succeed in closing down ten major intersections for a total of 62 minutes.

Zo Artzeinu leader Moshe Feiglin told Arutz-7 today that he is prepared to be arrested: \"If this is the price we must pay, then so be it,\" he said. \"I call upon all Israelis capable of joining in to do so, in order to raise the level of awareness. This in turn, I hope will lead to the government abandoning its restraint policy and begin fulfilling its promises of restoring peace and security to Israel.\" Although today\'s grassroots effort is a peaceful demonstration, witnesses at one intersection report hearing a police commander instructing his officers to use physical force to scatter the demonstrators.
