Palestinian terrorism claimed two more victims over the past two days. In an ambush shooting attack in eastern Binyamin, between the Shilo bloc and the Jordan Valley, terrorists shot at an Israeli couple around 11:30 this morning. Shalom Har-Melekh, 25, of Chomesh, was murdered, and his wife was wounded. Shalom will be buried in Kokhav HaShachar, where he grew up, tomorrow night.

The wounded woman, in her seventh month of pregnancy and listed in "moderate" condition after she was flown to Ein Karem Hospital, said that they saw a group of 4-5 Arabs standing ahead of them on the road. Only when the couple passed near them did the terrorists pull out weapons and start shooting. A Magen David Adom team arrived on the scene only in time to determine the man's death.

The attack took place not far from where Gideon Lichterman, 27, was murdered in a similar manner in early May, leaving his wife and 6-year-old daughter behind.

Yesterday, Amatzya Nisanovitch, 22, of the Shomron community Tzofim, succumbed to wounds he suffered in the suicide bombing outside Ariel two weeks ago. That attack also claimed the life of Erez Hershkovitz, 18, of Elon Moreh, and caused serious injuries to another woman. Nisanovitch was buried at the Barkan Cemetery near Ariel this afternoon.
