58 years after the end of World War II, the Simon Weisenthal Center has announced the launching of Operation "Last Chance" to catch Nazi war criminals living in Austria.

58 years after the end of World War II, the Simon Weisenthal Center has announced the launching of Operation "Last Chance" to catch Nazi war criminals living in Austria. The Center has the names of 47 Austrian citizens who perpetrated Nazi atrocities, and is offering $10,000 to whoever submits information on any of them. The last trial against Nazis in Austria took place 20 years ago.

Six Nazis were convicted in various trials around the world during the past year, including SS officer Friedrich Engel, 93, who was sentenced to seven years in prison.
