The Shabak (General Security Service) is now holding some 12 Jewish suspects, many of them on unspecified "security charges." It is assumed that the suspicions relate to alleged planned attacks against Arabs in the PA - and in fact, it was permitted for publication today that one of those in custody, Shachar Zeliger, is being charged with attacking Arabs.
In addition to Zeliger, the original four Bat Ayin suspects arrested well over a year ago, and Yitzik Pass and Mati Shvo, five more suspects have been arrested over the past few days - including a soldier who was arrested just this morning after a two-day search. The general procedure is not to allow them contact with their lawyers or families for some two weeks after their arrest.
Two of the latest to be arrested are a brother of terrorist victim Shlomo Libman and a close friend of outpost builder and terrorist victim Nati Ozeri, and the founder of the Ronen Farm in the Shomron for troubled youth.
