The condition of last night\'s terrorist victim has deteriorated, and he is now listed as seriously wounded. Roni Diament of Efrat was shot by Palestinian terrorists not far from Tzurif, a village from where many terrorists have originated since before the establishment of the State of Israel. He was traveling home to Gush Etzion along the road that many residents had been using in order to avoid the terrorist dangers of the Tunnels Highway. Diament suffered two bullet wounds to his chest and stomach; 19 bullets hit his car. The Jewish Community of Hevron issued a statement sharply criticizing the army for not providing sufficient protection on the \"one remaining road safely remaining for those who live between Jerusalem and Hevron.\"
