Today, August 12th, marks Elchanan Tannenbaum's 57th birthday - and his third as a captive of Palestinian terrorists. He was abducted by Hizbullah terrorists in Abu Dhabi, according to the latest information, in October 2000 - and has not been heard from since. The International Coalition for Missing Israeli Soldiers reports that on January 5 of this year, Hizbullah confirmed that Elchanan was alive. However, he suffers from chronic asthma, and he requires medication and constant medical supervision. Since his capture, Tannenbaum has been refused all contact with the outside world, including the Red Cross. Click here for more information or here to sign a petition.
