The Nazareth Magistrates Court issued a gag order this morning against the publication of some details in the search for Oleg Shchaiat. The police now say that they have a possible lead in the case.

Hundreds of security agents and volunteers continue, for the fourth straight day, searching for the missing soldier - mostly in the area west of the Kinneret. Oleg was last heard from on Monday afternoon when he phoned his family to say he was on his way home to Nazareth Illit from his army job near Kiryat Shmonah. Israel has asked the Palestinian Authority for its cooperation in the search, as kidnapping by terrorists is suspected.

In the previous abduction - of taxi driver Eli Gur-El, who was found safe and sound last week four days after being kidnapped by Palestinian terrorists - the PA barely helped at all, according to IDF Central Commander Maj.-Gen. Moshe Kaplinsky.
