Israeli security forces have apprehended six members of a Fatah cell who carried out five terrorist attacks in the Sharon area in the month of April. A seventh terrorist was killed during the chase. The six confessed to their interrogators that they were planning further attacks, including the kidnapping of a soldier from a bus stop, the dispatching of a suicide terrorist, and a third attack at a Kibbutz Horshim pub. The terrorist cell was responsible for five previous attacks: the placing of three bombs in Kfar Saba, two of which went off, as well as explosives in Netanya, Shaarei Tikva, and Hod HaSharon.
