Still more mortar rockets were launched against the Gaza community of Gadid this afternoon. Earlier this morning, another mortar shell was fired into Atzmona in Gush Katif. These followed the launching of seven such shells at Atzmona yesterday, in which only one person, a worker from Thailand, was very lightly injured. One shell hit the military preparatory yeshiva school, two hit the Thai workers\' neighborhood - one house was destroyed - and two fell near the Talmud Torah. Miraculously, none of the many children who were outside during those early afternoon hours were hurt. Another mortar landed in the town of Shalev, the western-most community in Israel, on the southwestern tip of the Gaza Strip.

The attack occurred very close to the murder sites of Binyamin and Talya Kahane and Assaf Hershkovitz. The condition of 5-month-old Chaim Yehuda (ben Bat-Sheva) Shoham of Shilo, who was hurt when rocks were thrown at his family car last week, continues to be very critical. Prime Minister Sharon, in response by an invitation from the baby\'s father Benny, will visit him in the hospital later today.
