Ceasefire talks continue, and so do Palestinian attacks. Arabs in Gaza fired on three IDF positions in and around Netzarim this morning. Soldiers returned fire to the source of the shooting and towards two armed figures north of Netzarim. PA officials claim that three Bedouin women living in a tent were killed by shrapnel in the attack.

Earlier this morning, yet another mortar shell was launched into Atzmonah in Gush Katif. Seven mortar shells hit Atzmona yesterday, and only one person - a worker from Thailand - was very lightly injured. One shell hit the military preparatory yeshiva school, two hit the neighborhood of Thai houses - one of which was destroyed - and two fell near the Talmud Torah. Miraculously, none of the many children who were outside at those early afternoon hours were hurt. Another mortar landed in the town of Shalev, the western-most community in Israel, on the south-western tip of the Gaza Strip.

Late Friday afternoon, Palestinian terrorists shot at a passing Israeli car south of Ofrah, seriously wounding driver Mordechai Cohen of Jerusalem. The attack occurred very close to the murder sites of Binyamin and Talya Kahane and Assaf Hershkovitz. The condition of 5-month-old Chaim Yehuda (ben Bat-Sheva) Shoham of Shilo, who was hurt when rocks were thrown at his family car last week, continues to be very critical.
