Moshe Saba, the observant Jewish-Mexican millionaire who is about to purchase the controlling share of Israel's beleaguered Channel Ten, says that he hopes to run the station according to Jewish Law. Saba, who is close to the Shas movement and Rabbi Ovadiah Yosef, may begin by cutting back broadcasts on the Sabbath. "After all, G-d created the world before Channel Ten was established," Saba told Maariv during his current visit to Israel. At present, Yossi Miman holds 51% of Channel Ten, but after Saba purchases 49% from various stockholders, Miman will be left with about 40%.
