Kotel Prayers And Downtown Demonstration

Two former Chief Rabbis have called for a Western Wall prayer ceremony this afternoon, at 5:30 PM. Two hours later, a giant rally will be held in downtown Jerusalem entitled, \"We Must Defeat Arafat!\"

Former Chief Rabbis Avraham Shapira and Mordechai Eliyahu have issued a call for the public to arrive at the Western Wall \"to beseech the Heavens at this time of crisis for the Jewish People.\" The prayers are scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM. Two hours later, many thousands from all over the country are expected to participate in a giant rally in downtown Jerusalem entitled, \"We Must Defeat Arafat!\"
