An Israeli woman was lightly wounded in the leg last night when Arab terrorists opened fire on her car near the Samarian community of N'vei Tzuf. The victim was transported to Tel HaShomer Hospital. The attack took place at about 10:00pm and a bus traveling on the Abud bypass road was also targeted by the gunfire. There were no injuries on the bus.



Other terrorist attacks on Israeli motorists: A car traveling in the Southern Hevron Hills district came under gunfire this morning near Ziv Junction.... A bus traveling near Chawara in Samaria was targeted in a rock-throwing attack today.... Last night, a driver traveling in the Gush Shilo area of Samaria was attacked with a pipe thrown from the Arab village of Turmous Aiya. Unconfirmed reports indicate that the projectile was a pipe bomb. There were no injuries in the attacks.



In Gaza last night, an armed gunman running towards the IDF Girit outpost, near Rafiach, was shot and wounded by soldiers. In northern Gaza, the IDF is continuing its counter-terrorist offensive. However, despite ongoing efforts, a Negev community was targeted in a rocket attack last night. There were no injuries. Senior IDF commanders indicate the operation will continue "for as long as necessary". Elsewhere overnight, military forces destroyed the home of PFLP terrorist Radwan Salah Hassin Kran, in Shechem. Kran was responsible for the April 10th terrorist attack in the Jordan Valley, in which two soldiers were murdered and eight wounded. Five terrorism suspects were apprehended by IDF troops overnight, as well.
