Dozens of Gush Etzion residents, who spent yesterday morning and last night at the funerals of their terrorist-victim neighbors Esther Alvan and Sarah Blaustein, have established a new neighborhood in their city, at the Tamar hill. Officials of the local municipal town council brought a caravan to the site, and Mayor Eitan Golan said that at least two other structures are on their way. \"This is the true Zionist answer to the Arab murder of our residents,\" he said, emphasizing that this will not be a mere protest, but a genuine new neighborhood. Earlier today, Efrat residents blocked the main Jerusalem-Gush Etzion highway to Palestinian traffic; the police finally arrived and dispersed them.

Other Yesha residents established a new outpost on the Yitzhar-Kedumim road, the site of the murder two days ago of Shomron Regional Council head Gilad Zar.

The Yesha Council convened this morning for an emergency meeting in light of the wave of murderous attacks against Yesha residents. The Council organized a demonstration outside the Prime Minister\'s Jerusalem home this afternoon, against the policy of restraint.
