The spiritual leader of the Naom Party, Har Hamor Yeshiva President Rabbi Tzvi Yisrael Tau, clarified on Monday that the party intends to run through election day.
In a letter to party chairman MK Avi Maoz, Noam L'Yisrael candidates, and party activists, the rabbi called on them to submit the list and keep on preparing to run in the elections.
"I hereby support you in continuing with full vigor in submitting the list and running for the Knesset in the upcoming elections," he wrote. According to Rabbi Tau, "Israel's salvation is proceeding and you, through your work for Noam L'Yisrael's success, help it do so, literally."
Further in the letter, Rabbi Tau made his position regarding the party's run clear: "Our faithful position is that Noam L'Yisrael will run until the actual voting at the ballot, and with G-d's help, it will succeed."
Rabbi Tau urged party members not to be deterred by various statements regarding the election cycle. "Do not be deterred and do not fear, since we expect and believe that the people of Israel will ignore all the statements and express the truth because it exists in them and grows in their hearts and is their self," he wrote.
He concluded the letter with a call to action: "Keep going with all your might and do not stop."
