An armed IDF soldier in tactical uniform was filmed on Sunday at the Tel Aviv Hashalom train station wearing shoulder patches containing unusual messages.
The IDF described the case as serious and announced that the soldier would face disciplinary action, Kan News reported.
One of the patches had the words "Serial Killer" on it. Under it was another patch reading: "I may look calm, but in my head, I already killed you three times."
The IDF responded: “The soldier’s conduct is inconsistent with the IDF’s values. Military appearance and dress regulations govern how patches may be worn on IDF uniforms."
The IDF clarified that action would be taken against the soldier following the footage. “The soldier in question will face disciplinary proceedings," the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit stated.
