Zehut Party chairman Moshe Feiglin discussed past tensions with Religious Zionist Party chairman and Minister Bezalel Smotrich, with whom he agreed to run in the upcoming elections.
"It is possible to forgive too. We are in the month of mercy and forgiveness, and I forgive, not just for show. You probably haven't experienced the pressure of political campaigns from which he said these things. I've experienced it, and I can understand how someone gets to this. I've forgotten it already," Feiglin explained in an interview with 103 FM Radio.
Feiglin stressed that the alliance is temporary. "We are running in a technical bloc. We are a totally separate party from the Religious Zionist Party. We appreciate it, but we will run a separate campaign and will work separately thereafter."
"After the elections, each one will go on their way, unequivocally. I believe that we are going to get five MKs in the next election, and the alliance with Smotrich will get a two-digit number of seats," he concluded.
