Police and Shin Bet forces are ramping up the pursuit of suspects involved in last Saturday's violent clashes with Arabs in the Samaria village of Qusra.
As part of operational activity conducted in the area of the Mevaser Hashalom outpost, the forces seized a pickup truck allegedly used by the rioters during the incident. The police stated that as officers prepared to seize the vehicle, several suspects gathered, blocked the forces' activities, interfered with the police, and even threw stones at them in an attempt to prevent the confiscation.
Two suspects were arrested during the clash and were taken for questioning. The police noted that after their arrest, order was restored and the operation was completed.
At the same time, as part of the investigation conducted by the Judea and Samaria District Police Inter-organizational Headquarters and the Shin Bet, investigators are working to locate all those involved in the attack. So far, arrest warrants have been issued for two suspects, and the police are conducting various investigative acts, including the use of advanced technological means.
It was further stated that during the investigation, several additional vehicles suspected to have been used by the suspects were seized. The police stressed that the investigation is ongoing and that all those involved in the incident will face justice.
