Religious Zionism party chairman Bezalel Smotrich and Zehut chairman Moshe Feiglin are expected to sign their merger agreement tonight. Under the agreement, Feiglin will receive the No. 2, 8, 10 and 11 slots on the joint electoral slate.
After the merger is finalized, an effort will also be made to bring Ofer Winter into the alliance.
The minister’s office said: “The chairman of the Religious Zionism party cut short his tour of southern Israel following a significant political development. The minister is now on his way to Religious Zionism headquarters."
