Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opened the 2026-2027 school year on Tuesday at the Benzion Netanyahu School in Ramle.
He was accompanied by Education Minister Yoav Kisch, Ramle Mayor Michael Vidal, and Secretary-General of the Teachers Union, Yaffa Ben David.
The Prime Minister met with the excited students entering first grade, wished all the students of Israel a successful and fruitful school year, and expressed his great appreciation for the teaching staff.
During the visit, Netanyahu expressed his appreciation for the teaching staff. Upon arriving at the school, he was greeted with Israeli flags and music.
The Prime Minister later entered a classroom and sat beside the children during an arts and crafts activity. Netanyahu joined the activity and even instructed the students on how to complete it.
“Let’s all take this letter shin and fill it with color," Netanyahu told the children. The students continued the activity alongside the Prime Minister.
